With roots in the punk rock scene, Jade Payne joins the show in Episode 108 to talk about her work with artists such as Bikini Kill and Khruangbin. A veteran of more than a decade in pro audio, she recently began mixing on an Allen & Heath dLive CTI1500 mix system, and she expounds on the benefits of owning your own gear and how it can improve your work. She also talks about what it’s like to have grown up listening to and loving a band and then getting the opportunity to work with them, and how to balance that dynamic.
