In Episode 101, the hosts are joined by Chris Demonbreun, a system engineer with Sound Image who’s recent tours include Imagine Dragons, Chris Young, and the Zac Brown Band. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where he fell in love with live sound, and worked with Nashville regional sound company Brantley Sound for almost a decade years before moving on to national touring with Sound Image. He discusses the differences in working for a regional versus a national company, the path to get there, as well as normalizing the system engineer role as a viable career path.
