Shure announced that it will be hosting an online panel discussion focused on Women in Theater, the kickoff of the company’s “Celebrating Women in Technology” Series, next Tuesday, September 13, beginning at 9 am U.S. Central time. (Registration for this free event is available here.)

Hosted by Shure president/CEO Chris Schyvinck the discussion will spotlight women whose various offstage roles and contributions make theater better and brighter because of their craft.

Panelists include sound designer and engineer Candog Ha (based in Hong Kong), sound engineer Vicki Hill (based in the UK), DePaul University head of sound design Victoria (Toy) Deiorio, and Stephanie Farnia, adjunct professor at The Tehatre School at DePaul and a journeyman in IATSE Local 2 of Chicago.
