Shure Debuts Artificial Intelligence Denoiser For IntelliMix Room

Machine-learned program trained to separate speech from noises included in new IntelliMix Room DSP software version 3.1.

Shure has introduced IntelliMix Room DSP software version 3.1 that’s equipped with a new artificial intelligence Denoiser feature, a machine-learned program trained to separate speech from noises. The feature’s AI training occurs in Shure labs, and improvements to the algorithm are delivered through software updates.

The Denoiser’s intensity can be set to low, medium or high, allowing users to tailor how agressively they want it to subdue noises within a space. It’s designed to work on many types of disruptive noises, including:

· Typing and keyboard noise

· Pen clicking and pencil tapping

· Shuffling papers

· Slamming doors

· Crinkling food packaging

The latest IntelliMix Room DSP software version 3.1 that includes Denoiser has been been released to the public as a free software update as of September 15, 2021. Go here for more specifics.
