Sennheiser Implements New, Affordable RF Support Service Programs

Services include transmitter customization, a free “help desk,” spectrum sweep consultations, and Sennheiser's competitive 700 MHz rebate

Sennheiser Electronic Corporation has announced several new RF consultation and support services, which are intended for Sennheiser’s end users and dealers. The array of premium, yet affordable, services include transmitter customization, a free “help desk,” spectrum sweep consultations, and Sennheiser’s competitive 700 MHz rebate.

“These services are intended to help guide customers through the challenging RF environment and ensure they can purchase wireless equipment with confidence,” said Joe Ciaudelli, RF spokesperson for Sennheiser Electronic Corporation.

“These services added on to the Sennheiser 700 MHz Rebate program for virtually all Sennheiser wireless microphone purchases made between December 1, 2008 and December 1, 2009 clearly defines our leadership position in the helping users navigate the ever-changing RF marketplace. In fact, customers can even swap their old non-Sennheiser products for a new Sennheiser system.”

For immediate technical support, customers can obtain free RF wireless advice by contacting the Sennheiser Help Desk (The Help Desk is available at 860-434-9190, then Option 3 for Technical Support, then Option 3 again for Wireless Support.) The complimentary service includes a free wireless system evaluation, as well as timely and informative responses to any other wireless-related inquiries.

Performance Guarantee
Each Sennheiser RF component and system includes a two-year warranty. In addition to this warranty, Sennheiser now offers a Performance Guarantee for new purchases. Sennheiser will re-tune or replace any system operating below 698 MHz, which will be illegal to operate by an eligible licensee according to any changes to FCC rules that become effective within the warranty period. This new safeguard is exclusive to Sennheiser.

Enhanced Assistance
Enhanced Assistance service may be purchased with new system purchases up to 16 channels. Sennheiser will review specified equipment list, coordinate the frequencies for the system for a fixed location, and provide factory setup and testing before shipping.

Large System Consultation
This advanced service is for new system purchases greater than 16 channels. Sennheiser will perform a review of intended venue blueprints, system design, component list, frequency coordinate the system for a fixed location, and provide factory setup and testing before shipping.

Spectrum Sweep Consultation
This large system design assistance includes an on-site spectrum sweep, complete analysis, and a comprehensive written report. Based on this report, Sennheiser will design the system, provide component list, frequency coordinate the system for a fixed location, and provide factory setup and testing of the new system before shipping.

Platinum Service
For multi-venue campuses, properties, or major tours. Sennheiser will provide complete and continuing design assistance, annual on-site frequency sweep, new purchase coordination, annual wireless system maintenance, and free on-site service and repair for critical issues.

A critical issue means that the system is down, production cannot be conducted, or the customer is experiencing continual failures as a result of the issue.

Sennheiser now offers the service of installing Sennheiser RF wireless systems into rack cases, providing a turnkey solution shipped directly from the factory for an 8-system rack or a 16-system rack.
