Rose City Sound (Portland, OR) has added a Fulcrum Acoustic FL283T line array system incorporating patented Passive Cardioid Technology to its production inventory.

Rose City is a long-time user of Fulcrum Acoustic loudspeakers, including on the DX series, FA28 dual 8-inch coaxial models and TS221 dual 21-inch subwoofers. The company’s stock of 16 FA12 loudspeakers are deployed as mains in addition to serving stage monitoring duties.

Rose City had already experienced Fulcrum’s Passive Cardioid Technology, designed to reduce rear radiation and enhance clarity, with its previously acquired CSP118 portable subcardioid subwoofers. The company also acquired new FA22 dual 12-inch coaxial loudspeakers and TS215 dual 15-inch subwoofers when adding the FL283T line array.

Eric Iverson, vice president of Rose City, states, “We’re excited to have the FL283T in our catalogue. The clarity and fidelity of the system is quite good. The rigging system makes handling a breeze. All of our Fulcrum Acoustic gear is received well by artists and audiences; we know that our know line array system will be too.”
