RØDE Expands Smartphone VideoMic Range With New USB-C Microphone

New model is identical to VideoMic Me and VideoMic Me-L microphones for iOS devices, but with a USB-C connector for plugging into Android smartphones, tablets and more.

RØDE has introduced VideoMic Me-C, a microphone for USB-C mobile devices designed to deliver quality audio when shooting video, as the latest addition to its VideoMic Me range for smartphones.

Recently released as part of the RØDE Vlogger Kit range, the VideoMic Me-C is now also available as a standalone product. It’s equipped with a cardioid condenser capsule designed to deliver clear, focused audio and has a 3.5 mm headphone jack for audio monitoring and playback. A mic clip and furry windshield are included.

The VideoMic Me-C is identical to RØDE’s VideoMic Me and VideoMic Me-L microphones for iOS devices, but with a USB-C connector for plugging into Android smartphones and tablets as well as other mobile devices with a USB-C input, such as the iPad Pro.
