The former Wechselbad der Gefühle in Dresden, the German Saxon capital, has been completely renovated under new management, and now known as the Boulevard Theater Dresden, it has re-opened with a sound reinforcement system incorporating Alcons Audio loudspeakers.
TW.O GmbH, an agency specializing in theater, culture and live marketing from the German Saxon capital, made significant investments in the modernization of the stage and the entire theater technology for the 500-seat venue, including the new house sound system.
“After many advisory discussions with sound engineers and other competent professionals, we organized test setups with different systems. The impressive performance of the Alcons systems and the professionalism of the Event-net GmbH made it an easy decision,” says Dan Becker, a director of TW.O GmbH.
Event-Net GmbH of Halle (Saale) implemented two main arrays, each with six Alcons LR7 micro-pro-ribbon line array modules. The arrays offer three 90-degree (horizontal) and three 120-degree (horizontal) elements.
Low frequencies are bolstered by two Alcons BF151 15-inch subwoofers, with all loudspeakers driven by two Alcons ALC Sentinel3 4-channel amplified loudspeaker controllers. For in fill and/or monitor applications, Alcons TS3 systems are also available.
