At the upcoming ISE 2023 show in Barcelona, Renkus-Heinz announced that it will be highlighting its UBX Series as well as the ICLive X Series, Iconyx Compact Series, C Series and S Series at booth #7F680 at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via beginning on January 31.

Members of the Renkus-Heinz team, including president Monika Smetona, CTO Ralph Heinz and many more will be on hand to meet with attendees and answering questions about the company’s latest projects and developments. “ISE is a great opportunity for Renkus-Heinz to exhibit the progress we have made in the past year as well as strengthen the relationships we’ve made previously,” says Smetona. “We’re bringing our best and most exciting lineup of products to the show this year and look forward to sharing our past year’s achievements with our partners and new connections.”

“We are excited to showcase how our award-winning UBX Series and Iconyx Compact Series solve acoustic challenges in many applications,” adds Karl Brunvoll, VP International Sales, “from transportation hubs and conference rooms to houses of worship, hospitality venues and more.”

The UBX Series utilizes the same complex steering algorithms as the company’s flagship ICONYX columns, as well as new Passive UniBeam Technology to deliver consistent coverage with minimal distortions or side lobe artifacts. The hardware addresses each transducer with specially designed all-pass filter networks, gain shading and frequency filtering in order to generate a downward steered asymmetrical vertical lobe with constant directivity. Available in three weather-resistant sizes — UBX4, UBX8 and UBX16 — all models have unobtrusive cabinet that can be surface-mounted plumb to the wall to help ensure minimal architectural intrusion.

Meanwhile, ICLive X is designed for a wide range of live and installed applications; each mid-sized ICLX module can stand alone or be arrayed with up to 12 units to deliver predictable coverage. The complementary ICLX-118S subwoofer adds low-frequency energy, and a range of rigging and cabling accessories help simplify integration and deployment.

The CA/CX121M 12-inch stage monitor is also designed for portable and installed PA functions, and can also serve as a pole-mounted main or side fill. The monitors are available in four variants, one passive and three powered: analog, RHAON and Dante. Meanwhile, the S Series features the SA/SX28, a compact subwoofer designed for flexible and discreet placement in a variety of install and portable scenarios — for example, as an under-seat subwoofer for houses of worship, theaters and other installations where aesthetics are of importance.

The Iconyx Compact Series brings the company’s performance and directivity synonymous to spaces where the classic ICONYX arrays might be too large. With a narrow profile and directivity control, Iconyx Compact is well-suited t. architecturally sensitive houses of worship, transportation hubs and educational facilities requiring added intelligibility of beam-steered line arrays.

The first product in the Directivity Control Series is the DC12/2, a compact steerable array that brings the technology ICONYX digitally steered line arrays to smaller but equally challenging spaces. This self-powered column line array hass 12 full-range, 2-inch drivers powered by 12 channels of SA Series amplifiers, with control via iOS or Android smartphones or tablets.
