QSC Audio WL3082 WideLine-8
Blueberry Rain Sound (BBRS), and its Moscow counterpart, LiveSound Ltd., carried out an installation at the Children’s Performing Arts Theater of Moscow, based around QSC WideLine-8 line arrays.

The sound companies jointly conceived a reinforcement system comprising dual hangs of six WL3082 full-range modules topped by a WL212sw subwoofer to produce a total curve angle of 54 degrees as well as 140-degree horizontal dispersion.

“We put together a proposal outlining the technical specs of the system in relation to the actual auditorium,” recalls Andre Lomov of BBRS.

“After studying the parameters, it was agreed that the QSC system would be the best fit for the job, since the auditorium is wide, not particularly long, and has deeply-raked seating; it was the ideal solution for this unique space.”

Technology Focus
