RCF TT+ Line Arrays On Board Viking Line M/S Rosella

The M/S Rosella, one of seven cruise ships in the Viking Line, recently renovated their night club with RCF TT++ line arrays.

Because the renovation included expanding the room vertically to a height of two stories, Jouni Sironen, the AV Manager of Viking Line, was looking for a new sound reinforcement system. The system would need to support the varied live music and entertainment that the cruise line offers guests on each cruise while also providing even coverage to the new space.

After hearing to demos of a number of top-line systems, Sironen determined that a RCF TTL++ line array would provide the audio quality and coverage that the room required.

The left-right system consists of one TTL 12AS and four TTL 31A hung on each side of the stage. TTS 28A subs provide the perfect base coverage stacked on the ground along the periphery of the stage. Four RCF C 3108W delay speakers provide under balcony fill.

RCF’s Finnish distributor Noretron Communication Ltd supplied the equipment and the installation was carried out by the Viking Line’s own technical team and Noretron’s personnel. The installers and the users were extremely satisfied with the TT+.line arrays.
