Showcasing live talent, the Reverb Stage on the Terrace will feature emerging talent at the 2018 Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, Tennessee June 28-30. Once again, RCF has been commissioned to provide sound reinforcement for the concert stage.
The annual summer event for the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) brings together all aspects of the music industry as the not-for-profit association reaches out to “promote the pleasures and benefits of making music.”
More than 1,600 product brands will be present, displaying the latest innovation in products and technology in the industry.
RCF will be showcasing the new HDL6-A small format line array system on the Reverb Stage on the Terrace featuring concerts throughout the three days of the NAMM convention.
The HDL 6-A compact line array is an ideal choice for applications demanding a small-format solution. Inside the cabinet, dual 6-inch woofers are joined by a 1.7-inch voice coil compression driver mounted on a precise 100 x 10-degree waveguide powered by an onboard 1,400-watt, 2-channel class D amplifier. The system introduces RCF’s new FiRPHASE DSP processing providing more transparency, clarity and linearity in sound reproduction.
“As we’ve started shipping this product, users have been absolutely amazed at the output of the HDL6’s, especially for the size of the system,” says RCF vice president of Sales and Marketing Tarik Solangi.
The stage system will also incorporate the RCF SUB8006-AS active dual 18-inch subwoofer, along with the new TT25-CXA and TT45-CXA stage monitors.
A partial list of performances on the Reverb Stage on the Terrace includes:
• Thursday – Ginger Cowgirl, Oddnote, Hot Dog Holler and Magnolia Wind
• Friday – Dixie Jade, Chris Walker, Eric Dates, Mean Mary and the Jon Hammond Funk Unit
• Saturday – Little Mae, The Delta Straits and Mona
In addition, the World’s Fastest Drummer preliminaries and finals will be held.
