RCF Supports Wild Woods Music And Arts Festival

MediaStructura and SB Productions reinforce annual event at Page Farm in Croydon, New Hampshire with HDL6-A line arrays and CSR82L dual 18-inch subwoofers.

The 5th annual Wild Woods Music and Arts Festival returned to the Page Farm in Croydon, New Hampshire this year. The 70-acres of farmland and wooded areas nestled in the Sunapee mountain range provide a colorful palette and serene setting for the weekend festival held August 10-11. The festival offers musical and visionary arts in a colorful, communal atmosphere of camping and camaraderie. Featured artists included Lotus, Emancipator Ensemble, Lespecial, Octave Cat, Pink Talking Fish, and Orchard Lounge.

For the concert main stage, RCF partners MediaStructura and SB Productions teamed up to provide the small format RCF HDL6-A dual 6-inch active two-way line array system coupled with CSR82L dual 18-inch subwoofers.

“Due to limitations on size and weight on the main stage,” says MediaStructura owner Graham Tobias,” we used eight HDL6-A per side. Using the RCF Shape Designer software we were able to effectively model the coverage area.” The result? “They easily maintained desired coverage and SPL levels, and felt incredibly linear in performance.”

Tobias continues, “We noticed that two of our headliners made no adjustments to the system EQ, solidifying our impression on how good the system sounds.”

MediaStructura is a Somerville, Massachusetts-based audio-visual company that has been producing, managing and engineering events in the New England area for over a decade.
