RCF has announced the latest improvements to the Subwoofer Series active subwoofer line with the new SUB 702-AS II is a compact active bass reflex subwoofer. The SUB 702-AS II is equipped with a 12-inch woofer with 2.5-inch voice coil, powered by a 1400-watt digital amplifier in a robust plywood housing.
Thanks to the built-in digital stereo crossover (DSP) with adjustable crossover frequency, it can be set up as a sub-satellite speaker system. The birch plywood enclosure is coated with black, heavy duty, textured epoxy. The front is protected from a strong, powder coated, metal grille. The cabinet features a 35 mm pole mount socket and two comfortable recessed side handles.
The SUB 702-AS II matches 8-inch, 10-inch or 12-inch satellite speakers. The SUB 705-AS II is the ideal companion subwoofer the RCF ART 3, ART 7 or D-Line Series.
