Radial Power-1 & Power-2 Clean Surge Suppressors Now Available

Power-1 provides 3 front and 8 back outlets while Power-2 offers 1 front and 8 back outlets as well as a sliding LED tray with multicolor and dim controls.

Radial Engineering has announced that the Radial Power-1 and Power-2, the first models in the company’s new line of clean surge suppressors, are now available in the U.S. and Canada.

Both units offer multiple front and rear outlets for more convenient access, with ample spacing for wall-wart power supplies. Power-1 provides 3 front and 8 back outlets while Power-2 offers 1 front and 8 back outlets as well as a sliding LED tray with multicolor and dim controls.

Front outlets provide power even when the unit is switched off, enabling connecting and charging devices without having to power-on an entire rack. A front panel accessible USB port allows for charging mobile devices such as phones or tablets.

Both units incorporate a made-in-the-USA MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) that senses spikes and drops in current that can cause damage to equipment. A fault protector indicator light illuminates when the MOV is in protection mode.

A unique high-rejection interference filter is designed to keep high frequencies and AM radio signals out of the power line, preventing contamination of audio signals that can lead to noisy recorded tracks or buzzy live audio. Additionally, both units utilize shunt mode technology and are non-ground contaminating for lower system noise.

A heavy-duty power on/off switch, rugged outlet connectors, and steel construction enhance durability.
