QSC Adds Industry Market Partners For Systems Business

Company announces new distribution and service providers with COMM-TEC covering Germany and Audiologic supporting the UK and Ireland.

QSC announces it has begun its partnership with new Industry Market Partners (IMPs) for its systems business, COMM-TEC in Germany and Audiologic in the UK and Ireland.

As end users expect direct contact with manufacturers, QSC developed new business processes to better support and meet the needs of both end users and channel partners. The development of IMPs supports this initiative with two specific roles: act as full-service traditional distributors when dealing with national customers, and function as flexible service providers when dealing with the end user’s integrator in-country.

COMM-TEC, headquartered near Stuttgart, is a pan-European distribution partner and manufacturer of innovative communication technologies. As of January 2018, COMM-TEC also began distributing QSC solutions in Austria.

“We are thrilled to offer the Q-SYS Platform as the flagship for the QSC Systems portfolio,” says Carsten Steinecker, managing director at COMM-TEC. “This market-leading, software-based audio, video and control platform provides more flexibility and will help future proof every project from a small conference room to a full enterprise.”

“COMM-TEC’s broad network of integrators and complementary product portfolio make them an ideal partner for QSC,” says Torsten Haack, director Systems Business Germany & Austria, QSC. “We look forward to working closely with them to provide our clients the individual support they need to be successful.”

Audiologic is a provider of pro-audio and commercial sound equipment in the UK and Ireland that combines detailed product knowledge with excellent standards of customer service.

“We are proud to serve as the exclusive UK distribution channel for some of the world’s leading AV&C manufacturers like QSC. We offer our customers real value with proven system design and advice, and look forward to educating customers on the benefits of an IT-based platform,” says Andy Lewis, Sales and Marketing director at Audiologic.

“Our first step to becoming true partners with our end customers was to evolve our distribution model and introduce IMPs,” says Duncan Savage, director Systems Business UK, QSC. “As we ramp up our presence in this region with a new QSC training and experience center, we will look to Audiologic to provide flexible support for our customers.”

Customers can contact Torsten Haack ([email protected]), director Germany and Austria, QSC or Duncan Savage ([email protected]), director UK and Ireland, QSC.

The point of contact for distribution inquiries in the EMEA region is Ron Marchant ([email protected]), senior director sales, QSC EMEA.
