Proel Premiering New HPX Series Power Amplifiers At Prolight + Sound/Musikmesse 2011

A selectable LPN (low-pass notch) filter allows for improved low-frequency response

At the 2011 Prolight + Sound.Musikmesse 2011 in Frankfurt, Proel is introducing new HPX Series power amplifiers.

The series includes models HPX 900, HPX1200, HPX2400, HPX2800, with output ranging from 900 watts to 2800 watts using power stages in Class AB and Class H and switching power supplies.

All models are capable of providing their maximum rated power on a 2-ohm load. A selectable LPN (low-pass notch) filter allows for improved low-frequency response, providing more punch and greater dynamics while simultaneously protecting the connected loudspeakers from over-excursion.

The front panel, which offers convenient die-cast handles and a removable dust filter, provides a set of LED status indicators and indexed level controls.

HPX Series amplifiers are conceived for use with all Proel passive loudspeaker lines, but are particularly adapted for use with the Neos, Net, Flash and SW Series enclosures.

Ship date for the new series is late spring of 2011.
