James Lamb, president of Point Source Audio, states, “China represents one of our key markets globally and we had been looking for the right organization to represent Point Source in the area.”
At the same time, Huahui’s president Allen Xu had been searching for a high quality and durable earset microphone to include in their product line. Lamb continues, “The timing was right for both companies. We were very impressed with their professional demeanor, and the shared vision is fully complementary to our goals in the region.”
In addition to sales, Huahui provides a full range of services including consultation and design, installation, and training. Covered market segments include broadcast, theaters and concert halls.
“In China, the broadcasting industry represents the largest professional market, so that will be our initial focus for getting Point Source Audio products into the marketplace,” says Xu. “Following that comes touring, theaters and schools.”
The Point Source Audio product line – particularly the flagship CO-7 ear-worn microphone – met all the criteria Xu was looking for. Durability was a key factor, as well as the ability to use the headsets with a variety of wireless beltpack transmitters, all with an eye (or ear) to providing unmatched quality sound reproduction.
Says Lamb, “We anticipate a very successful relationship with Huahui and are happy to have such a quality organization represent Point Source Audio microphones in China.”
Huahui Audio Technology has been serving the Chinese pro audio industry since 2003 and currently has offices located in Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
