PMC Takes Hear More Tour To Germany And Austria

Tour beginning at Dorian Grey’s Munich facility on April 25th and then moving to Vienna, Hamburg and Berlin showcases new MB3 XBD-A monitors.

PMC Speakers is taking its Hear More Tour to the next level in Germany and Austria during April and May, giving musicians and producers the opportunity to explore the intricacies of its professional monitoring systems.

The special events are being held in conjunction with recording studio group Dorian Grey. UK console manufacturer SSL will also be taking part in the German leg of the tour by hosting demo sessions on its XL Desk and Matrix systems.

PMC’s new MB3 XBD-A main monitor system, which won a Best of Show award when it was launched at NAMM earlier this year, will be the centerpiece of each seminar. All attendees will get hands-on, both physically and sonically, with these monitors.

Tailored for a wide range of attendees, from those who are already making a living in professional audio field to students who want to learn from the experts, PMC’s Hear More events combine seminars and workshops with presentations from industry experts who will be sharing their knowledge and experience of their craft.

Each event is free and everyone attending will automatically be entered in a draw with prizes totalling over €5,700. The draw, which will take place at the end of the tour on PMC’s booth at AES Berlin, will see one lucky person walking away with a pair of PMC twotwo6 monitors and another person winning an SSL Duende software suite.

PMC’s business development manager Chris Allen says: “I am particularly excited about this series of events. The combination of having our award-winning MB3 XBD-A system and the powerhouse of SSL joining us will make for an incredible afternoon of world-class audio for all. Dorian Gray Studios are designed to the highest quality so are the perfect setting for these meetings. Additionally, the class of guest professionals we have joining us is going to take these events above and beyond what has been done before.”

PMC’s Hear More Tour begins at Dorian Grey’s Munich facility on April 25th and then moves to the company’s studios in Vienna (April 27th), Hamburg (May 9th) and Berlin (May 11th). Sessions will target music and pro audio students, as well as more experienced recording professionals.

Each event will also have a guest speaker who will use examples from their own work to highlight recording and mixing techniques. These include producer, multi-instrumentalist and Milkshop Mastering founder Vlado Dzihan who will speak in Munich and Vienna.
