PK Sound has announced Chicago’s High Frequency Productions as the newest member of the PK Alliance following its recent investment in a T10 robotic line source system, which, as a member, the company can augment with large-format Trinity Black robotic array elements from the Alliance’s dry-hire inventory.
“We’ve always prided ourselves on being a technology-forward company, and when it comes to live sound reinforcement, PK Sound’s robotic systems are at the cutting-edge of acoustic performance and operational efficiency,” says Juan Ocampo, owner and production manager at High Frequency Productions. “Not only that, but the PK Alliance model has a lot of benefits for a growing business and we’re happy to be able to collaborate within this group of skilled and like-minded companies.”
The system comprises 24 T10 medium-format robotic line source elements, 16 T218 intelligent subwoofers, and a PK Cell, which combines power, signal, and network data distribution in a modular, standardized touring rack. The company is also among the Beta testing partners for PK’s incoming .dynamics software that’s designed to unite every aspect of the live sound workflow.
High Frequency Productions recently debuted its T10 system for a sold-out engagement with Marca MP at the Rosemont Theatre. “As a youthful company with a very talented, technically proficient, and passionate team, High Frequency fits our ideal Member profile to a tee and we’re happy to welcome them into the PK Alliance,” states Trevor Grenier, Global Partner Support with PK Sound. “We’re looking forward to growing our success in tandem with them and our growing network of PK Alliance partners.”
