Peavey Commercial Audio, a division of Peavey Electronics, is reintroducing UK-held stock to serve their expanding EMEA footprint.
The Mississippi-based commercial audio manufacturer reorganized its logistics in 2015, with their UK warehouse closing in preference for a more centralized operation from the US and China.
However, with recent new distributor agreements expanding Peavey’s presence across Europe, the company is bringing back a UK-based stock holding of their Crest Audio and Peavey Professional lines, with availability expected mid-July.
Peavey is partnering with AV logistics firm Velta, who will be using their bonded warehouse facility in Witham, Essex.
James Kennedy, operations manager for Peavey Commercial Audio EMEA, said: “We are very happy to announce this new development in our logistics. We’ve seen growth across our portfolio and the interest in new products from Crest Audio is particularly encouraging.”
He added: “With some excellent new distributor agreements already made this year – including Neotecnica in Spain, Holland PA across Benelux and Visono in Sweden – we want to be able to serve these areas as conveniently as possible and our new UK-based stock will ensure we do just that.”
