Out Board has announced the appointment Phoenix Audio Distribution as the new distributor of its TiMax spatial mixing and immersive audio platform in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
The company, headed by Chris Zhang and Mac Lo, already has links with the team at Out Board and the TiMax product range, holding stock at its offices in Guangzhou and Hong Kong offices along with plans to invest immediately in inventory for demonstration and support purposes at its offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
Zhang states, “It is a great honor to take on the distribution of the TiMax range of products. At Phoenix, we understand TiMax SoundHub and TiMax Tracker, and how they will bring the best sound arrangements for our customers across the Grand China area. This is a very exciting time for our customers and us.
Out Board director Dave Haydon adds, “We’re very fortunate to continue our work in China and Hong Kong with our friends at Phoenix Audio. We look forward to working with them to increase our already significant market penetration in the Hong Kong and PRC territories, and working more closely with customers in Taiwan.”
