CSD Group of New Haven, IN and The Summit Church will host an open house at the Capital Hills Campus in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, February 19 from 5 pm to 9 pm, where demos will include the first house of worship installation of a d&b Soundscape 360-degree system.
Soundscape is designed to deliver an engaging connection to congregation members through precise localization and emulated acoustics while providing consistent sound coverage and high intelligibility. The system employs a DS100 signal matrix, DS10 audio network bridges and 10D and 30D amplifiers working with 24S-D loudspeakers and delays, 8S front fills, J-SUB subwoofers, and a surround ring with 12S, 10S and 8s loudspeakers.
Implemented by CSD Group, the audio system also includes a Yamaha RIVAGE digital console at front of house, a Yamaha CL5 digital console for recording, and Shure personal monitoring and wireless microphone systems. Additional AVL components include Chauvet stage lighting and a Grandma lighting console, Chroma Q house lighting, Vanguard LED, Sony broadcast cameras, Ross video switching, and a Clearcom intercom system.
During the open house, guests will have the opportunity to explore audio, video, lighting, and broadcast throughout the new campus with the opportunity to meet with church, CSD Group, and manufacturer teams. All are welcome: AVL technical staff, engineers, and pastors/leaders, and pizza and drinks will be provided.
