On-Stage has debuted the new UTC1100, and expandable utility cart that’s the company’s most compact to date and designed to support up to 330 pounds per trip, joined by the new UCA1500 utility cart tray, and attachment that can convert the cart into a portable workstation.
“The extendable frame on the UTC1100 means that users are always prepared for whatever performance situation is thrown their way,” says Jason Joyal, product line manager for On-Stage. “The frame only takes up as much space as it needs, allowing users to squeeze through tight doorways and loading docks without needing to make multiple trips, easing the setup and tear down process.”
The UTC1100’s frame incorporates non-slip materials on key contact points as well as strategically placed eyelets for hooks and straps. Textured 6-inch rear wheels are designed to provide solid grip over uneven and loose surfaces, while 3-inch, 360-degree rotating casters are intended to let users steer with precision. Each caster can be locked.
Sold separately, the new UCA1500 cart tray adds a 36- by 17-inch reinforced tabletop surface to the cart itself. With slots available for cable ties and two portholes for routing audio or power cables, it accomodates mixers, laptops, lighting controls, monitors and accessories. The tray also includes 10 cable ties to help in maintaining an organized setup. Top and side mounting slots provide various height configurations that adapt to specific needs.
