On Point Audio Introduces New Line Of Speakers At Prolight + Sound

Introductions include the NP15N semi-rectangular subwoofer and several active and passive speakers.

On Point Audio has introduced its new line of speakers at Prolight + Sound 2010.

On Point Audio models use the company’s new NP15N 15-inch woofer featuring “Narrow- Profile” technology.

The NP15N is a woofer with a 15-inch that is only 14 inches wide.

On Point Audio’s modified the woofer’s overall size by making its frame semi-rectangular instead of circular shape.

On Point Audio’s NP15N uses a highly-damped 15-inch cone with an “accordion-style” suspension.

It also utilizes a large-format 4-inch voice coil and is rated at 3,200 watts peak, 800 watts continuous per EIA 426-B.

The NP15N is powered by a neodymium-iron-boron magnet.

The narrower woofer allows One Point to create systems that are smaller overall, helping minimize visual obstructions.

The NP15N woofer is used in On Point Audio’s OPA-15 Active, powered 15-inch two-way systems; the OPA-15 YNP compact 15-inch two-way system, the OPA-15 NP large-format 15-inch two-way system and the OPA-15 NPM 15-inch two-way floor monitor.
