NEXT-proaudio NEXT-proaudio is introduces the new LAm114xA active stage monitor at the upcoming Prolight + Sound show in Frankfurt.
The LAm114xA incorporates a custom 14-inch coaxial driver from B&C Speakers, joined by a DPA amplifier module rated as capable of generating 1,650 watts (rms) of power.
The new monitor is designed to combine the voice reproduction clarity associated with 12-inch woofers with the bass extension provided by 15-inch woofers. High-frequency reproduction is delivered by a 2-inch-exit (3-inch voice coil) neodymium compression driver.
The light weight, switch-mode supply class D amplifier module is joined by integrated DSP with A/D-D/A low noise converters. Eight selectable presets (six factory-defined and two user-defined) can be accessed by a selector located on the module front panel, or adjusted in real-time via a PC (linked via USB) that’s loaded with the supplied SOUNDWARE software.
SOUNDWARE software provides editing of the pre-loaded presets. Editable parameters include input equalization, input delay, input high-pass/low-pass filters, and the “Bass Enhancer” function. A total of 255 units can be controlled simultaneously by the software.
