Portugal-based NEXT Audiocom has the introduction of the new A504DSP that combines a 4 x 500-watt (2 x 1000-watt) power amplifier with a DSP engine that can be configured to drive a wide range of loudspeaker systems in both touring and install applications.
The A504DSP distributes audio power in various combinations across four, three or two outputs to drive. For example: four full-range loudspeakers or subwoofers; high-power subwoofer plus two full-range loudspeakers; high-power subwoofer plus a bi-amplified loudspeaker; and a high-power full-range loudspeaker plus a high-power subwoofer.
The DSP engine is controlled by built-in OLED screen with an encoder or via PC, with input/output routing, high- and low-pass filters, parametric EQ, compressors/limiters, noise gates and alignment delays.
