Lake has announced the availability of version 5.3 of the Lake Controller with accompanying new firmware for Lab.gruppen PLM Series Powered Loudspeaker Management systems.
Version 5.3 brings new features and increased performance and stability and can be used by all existing Dolby Lake Processor users as well as operators of PLM Series products.
Among numerous updated functions, the new Lake Controller software adds functionality to set the profile for the PLM’s ISVPL Limiter. The profile tunes the ISVPL limiter to be optimized for different frequency bands.
By tailoring attack and release times for ISVPL, different frequency band’s sonic performance can be increased.
The Sub/LF profile adds punch and tightness to all sub and low frequency bands. The Sub/LF profile is recommended for all bands with a low pass of 300 Hz and below.
The Universal profile is recommended for all other bands.
This release also adds BETA support for Dante in 48 kHz sampling frequency mode, providing PLMs compatibility with other Dante 48 kHz products.
With release 5.3 many improvements in the area of Super Modules and Multiple Controllers have been made as well as many other critical bug fixes and added functionality.
Those running previous releases are highly recommended to upgrade.
Lake Controller 5.3 includes LoadLibrary 2.0 which is updated with ISVPL profiles for all presets.
Also new in this LoadLibrary version are added presets suitable for EAW MW15, JFL210 and KF737 as well as new Fingerprints suitable for Adamson Y18 and JBL VRX932LA. The Fingerprints suitable for EAW SB1000, EAW MW12 and Adamson T21 havealso been updated.
