New GaffGun Simplifies Process Of Laying Gaffer’s Tape Over Cables (Video)

The new GaffGun, introduced at the 2014 WFX Show in Dallas last week, saves valuable time and simplifies the job of laying gaffer’s tape over cables.

The device was created by GaffTech, a Seattle-based company “made up of some people who hated laying gaffer’s tape,” according to a company statement.

Using patent-pending CoreLok technology, it can be used with any type or size of GaffGun tape via the same device. Cables don’t have to be straight—a special cable guide on the device straightens and centers cables during the taping process.

The basic package, available at a special pre-order price of $199, includes a GaffGun, small-sized CableGuide and extension handle.

The bundle package, available at a pre-order price of $249, includes the basic package elements plus medium- and large-sized CableGuides as well as a FloorGuide.

Available in December 2014, the GaffGun packages are available for order online here.
