Ashly Audio introduced the new digiMIX18 rack-mountable digital mixer, with iPad remote control, at the 2018 NAMM show.
The digiMIX18 is designed to provide intuitive real-time mixing functionality for professionals as well as beginners, equipped with buttons and knobs, intelligent fader and meter bridge, and a 7-inch touchscreen interface. It also includes a free iPad app that delivers the remote control capability.
“At a MAP price of $899, our digiMIX18 packs in more flexibility and real-world tools than other mixers in this category at twice the price,” states Anthony Errigo, director of marketing communications, Ashly Audio. “Our digiMIX18 has everything an audio engineer will want, configured so that quick access is insanely practical.
:Non-experts will have an easy time navigating basic functions in ‘EZ-Mode’ when digiMIX18 is set up for, say, a meeting or a presentation,” he continues. “It doesn’t depend on Wi-Fi for anything, so it’s completely self-sufficient. All around it’s a powerful solution for any live performance or event.”
Additional features include 18 inputs, twelve output buses, ample equalization and dynamics processing, two effects engines, auto-mixing functionality, optional Dante digital connectivity, and supplied rack-mounting hardware for a locking rack system.
The digiMIX18 will be shipping in Spring of 2018.
