At this week’s 2017 NAMM show in Anaheim, C.V. Lloyde Audiovisual of Champaign-Urbana, IL was honored with the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Milestone Award for 150 years of service in the music products industry.
Presented annually by NAMM president and CEO Joe Lamond, the Milestone Award recognizes music businesses that have flourished through changing business environment to reach a noteworthy anniversary.
“NAMM’s recognition of the Lloyde family business simply punctuates the pride and passion of serving customers musically for so many decades. We are honored for this award and inspired to continue our contributions to this industry and all its customers,” states Stephen Morris, owner and president of C.V. Lloyde Audiovisual.
Founded in 1867, D.H. Lloyde forged what would soon be lasting relationships with local houses of worship, schools, and Universities offering sheet music, pianos, pump organs, and band instruments. Through four generations, the Lloyde family of music has continually grown with the times, trends, and the technology to meet the ever changing demands of musicians and sound enthusiasts. From pump organs to touring with bands like Boston and Sammy Hagar, C.V. Lloyde and family have remained the Midwest’s leader in music and sound reinforcement products and services.
Today, focused on the rapid expansion of audiovisual technologies, C.V. Lloyde Audiovisual provides design and integration services for many commercial market segments and large-scale sports facilities such as the recent $3.2 million AV renovation of the University of Illinois State Farm Center.

The Milestone Awards are presented annually to industry leaders celebrating notable anniversaries during the NAMM Show.
