The MUSIC Group has appointed Greg McLagan as AVP, Business Development Professional Division, where he is in charge of developing business strategy and action plans to grow the Pro Division’s global footprint.
With more than 25 years of experience in pro audio sales, McLagan brings a wealth of expertise in building strong customer relationships and partner channels to executing global sales strategy. Prior to joining MUSIC Group, he held management positions at QSC Audio, Renkus-Heinz and Mark IV Audio.
“I’m honored to have Greg join the MUSIC Group team,” states Shawn Watts, VP of Global Sales Professional Division. “We’re making preparations to launch the largest and most comprehensive line of products in the history of our Pro Division. Greg’s knowledge and expertise will be instrumental in the continued development of our global market presence.”
MUSIC Group has invested significantly in the growth of the Pro Division since its acquisition of Midas and Klark Teknik in 2009, growning their share of the digital console market. The addition of Turbosound in 2012 expanded the portfolio of brands aimed at the professional touring, sound reinforcement and installation markets.
