Morris Light & Sound Officially Acquired By Solotech

Solotech solidifies presence in the Nashville region by joining forces with the live production and system integration teams (InteRise) of Morris.

Solotech has announced the completion of the acquisition of Nashville-based Morris Light & Sound. First announced in late February (2021), the move was made with the goal of solidfying Solotech’s presence in the Nashville region by joining forces with the live production and system integration teams (InteRise) of Morris Light & Sound, and the acquired brands will operate with the branding of “A Solotech Company.”

Martin Tremblay, President and CEO of Solotech, states, “Our joint capabilities and resources enable us to significantly strengthen our footprint in the USA, and much more in Nashville, to the benefit of all our clients. It is also the assurance of our unmatched readiness for clients in the live productions industry, and our enhanced ability to offer compelling and innovative services and solutions when activities resume after the global crisis. We continue to build based on long-term relationships and delivery excellence to propel our overall footprint locally, nationally and globally.”

This step will enable Solotech to expand its current systems integration experts and resources in the area and across the U.S. Mickey Curbishley, President, Live Productions Division, U.S. and UK, Solotech, and Philip Giffard, President, Sales and Systems Integration Division, Solotech, will oversee leadership in place in Nashville to manage all operational aspects and work to ensure a smooth and efficient transition.
