Martin Audio has announced several new products targeting the commercial installation sector, with in-ceiling and pendant loudspeakers joining the ADORN series of on-wall models first introduced in 2019. They will be on display at the upcoming ISE show in Amsterdam at booth K190 in Hall 7, and the new ceiling line will also be played in the company demo room — E104, near Hall 10.
The ADORN series is designed for background and foreground systems that require visually discreet, compact enclosures, and they can also provide sonic transition within a multi-zone complex using larger Martin Audio systems such as CDD or BlacklineX.
The additions include three new in-ceiling models and the company’s first-ever pendant loudspeaker, available in white or black as standard. All ceiling models have a nominal impedance of 16 ohms, enabling four or more to be driven in parallel by one amplifier channel. They’re also fitted with an internal 70/100-volt multi-tap line transformer with a switch to select the output level. The low and high frequency sections are individually protected against overload in all models.
Comprising a 4-inch (100 mm) low-frequency driver and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) silk-dome tweeter, the ACS-40TS is stated to produce 108 dB peak output at 1 meter, with a ported design intended to deliver strong bass down to 73 Hz. The 180-degree conical coverage makes it particularly suitable for low ceilings and can reduce the number of loudspeakers required for even coverage. A shallow backcan facilitates installation in ceilings with a minimum cavity depth.
Equipped with a 5.25-inch (100 mm) LF driver and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) silk-dome tweeter, the ACS-55TS is stated to produce 113 dB peak output at 1 meter, with a ported design designed to deliver strong bass down to 79 Hz. It has 150-degree conical coverage as well as a shallow backcan.
The ACS-55T incorporates a 5.25-inch (100 mm) LF driver and a 0.75-inch (19mm) silk-dome tweeter and is stated to produce 113 dB peak output at 1 meter. A ported bass reflex design, combined with a backcan with additional internal volume, is designed to maximize low-frequency output and delivers bass down to 62Hz. Conical coverage is also 150 degrees.
The ACP-55T pendant loudspeaker has a 5.25-inch (100 mm) LF driver and a 0.75-inch (19 mm) silk-dome tweeter, stated to produce 109 dB peak output at 1 meter. The stylish enclosure is equipped with a single-point mounting system plus provision for attaching a safety cable. Available in black or white, it offers 150-degree conical coverage.
