Mark Wilder Joins The MUSIC Group As VP Of Marketing Communications

Will oversee all creative teams and direct online strategy, trade shows, advertising, as well as public and artist relations

The MUSIC Group, corporate parent for brands such as Midas, Klark Teknik and Behringer, has announced the appointment of Mark Wilder as vice president of marketing communications.

Based in the company’s Seattle-area office, he will oversee all creative teams and direct online strategy, trade shows, advertising, as well as public and artist relations.

Wilder has 17-pluys years of experience, having previously served as VP of marketing at Gemini and as marketing director for Samson. He is also a classically trained pianist and holds a masters degree from the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.

“Our brands have grown exponentially and Mark’s leadership and expertise will be essential to our success as we move into diverse product categories, such as installed sound, consumer electronics, and expand our presence in the DJ and Live Sound arena,” states Costa Lakoumentas, senior VP of marketing for The MUSIC Group.
