Mackie Introduces New Onyx Series Analog Mixers At NAMM Believe in Music Week

All four new models have 24-bit/96 kHz multitrack USB recording, Onyx mic preamps, and Perkins “British Style” EQ with sweepable midrange.

As part of its program at this week’s NAMM Believe in Music virtual event, Mackie has debuted a new line of Onyx mixers Including four variations — Onyx8, Onyx12, Onyx16, and Onyx24 — all with 24-bit/96 kHz multitrack USB recording, high-gain Onyx mic preamps, and Perkins “British Style” EQ with sweepable midrange designed to offer EQ sounds from the 1960s and 70s.

Recording and playback can be handled from a Mac or PC via USB, or users can record a main mix directly to an SD card. Studio Command provides full-color display and single knob interface for managing the built-in FX and SD card file for browsing, recording, and playback.

● Onyx12 has a dozen channels and a U.S. MAP of $599.99
● Onyx16 offers 16 channels offering. and a U.S. MAP of $699.99
● Onyx24 supplies 24 channels with a U.S. MAP of $899.99
