Lynx Pro Audio Introduces XT Series Power Amplifiers

Lynx Pro Audio has debuted the XT series, a new generation of power amplifiers designed to offer high voltage output joined by 64-bit 96 kHz digital signal processing (DSP) and advanced power management in a package for touring and installation applications.

The series includes two 4-channel models utilizing switch-mode power supplies with class-H 3 topology. The XT-6K is stated to provide up to 6,000 watts and the XT-10K up to 10,000 watts. Both are designed to operate at 8, 6 and 4 ohms, as well as in bridged and 100/70-volt modes. Both are housed in rack-mountable chassis measuring 19 x 3.5 x 12.5 inches (HxWxD) and weighing 18.7 pounds.

A large IPS display and touch screen panel user interface are designed for fast access to all parameters. DSP management user functionality includes input routing matrix analog, input EQ section with 8 filters and 20 memories, input EQ user section, system preset selection, a snapshot library management with up to 20 presets and master control groups.

Both models also have two Ethernet ports for daisy chain connection and access to the OCS software, designed to monitor the amplifiers in real time.
