LOUD Technologies Restores Significant EAW and Mackie Production Capacity

Mass production has resumed for EAW AX, JF and NTL Series; production also began on a portion of the Mackie VLZ3 Series

LOUD Technologies announced today (3/24/09) that it restored production in March for a number of significant EAW and Mackie product lines that were impacted when one of the Company’s contract manufacturers ceased operations in late 2008.

Specifically, the company says mass production has resumed on all SKUs (stock-keeping units) of the EAW AX, JF and NTL Series in March. Production also began on a portion of the Mackie VLZ3 Series in March, with the balance of the series entering full production in April.

“We’ve made incredible progress in restoring supplies in just three short months,” stated Jim Stewart, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of LOUD. “In the process, we’ve added significant capacity and sophistication to our supply chain that will support the next phase in the company’s growth.”

In January, 2009, LOUD restored production for the EAW KF and SB loudspeakers at a company-owned facility, as well as resumed production on Mackie HRmk2 and MR studio monitors at another of the Company’s contract manufacturing partners.

LOUD customers should contact their local sales managers for specific availability information on these, and any other, LOUD brand products.
