Live Nation Creates Crew Nation To Support Production Professionals Affected By COVID-19

Will be reaching out to crew members from tours whose income has already been affected due to the cancellation or rescheduling of Live Nation event; will be releasing an application for live music crews across the industry.

Live Nation has announced the creation of Crew Nation to provide relief to production personnel impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, stating that it has committed $10 million to the effort — contributing an initial $5 million to the fund then matching, dollar for dollar, the next $5 million donated by artists, fans and employee.

Crew Nation is powered by Music Forward Foundation, a charitable 501c3 organization, that will be administering the fund. From the Live Nation website:

Live music inspires millions around the world, but the concerts we all enjoy wouldn’t be possible without the countless crew members working behind the scenes. As COVID-19 puts concerts on pause, we want to extend a helping hand to the touring and venue crews who depend on shows to make a living.

Crew members are the backbone of the live music industry, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting them through this temporary intermission until we can once again unite millions around the world through the power of live music.

Live Nation adds that it will be reaching out to crew members from tours across the globe whose income has already been affected due to the cancellation or rescheduling of a Live Nation event. The organization will be releasing an application for live music crews across the industry, and asks those interested to check back here and here regularly for next steps.

And, go here to donate to Crew Nation.
