Lectrosonics Receives Technical Certifications, Will Distribute In Europe & Japan

Products to be distributed for these export markets are all based on Lectrosonics' acclaimed Digital Hybrid Wireless technology

Lectrosonics recently received technical certifications for its products in Europe and Japan, and has completed the conversion to lead-free solder and production to meet RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) requirements for Europe.

Products to be distributed for these export markets are all based on Lectrosonics’ acclaimed Digital Hybrid Wireless technology and initially include the SM “Super-Mini” Series of belt-pack transmitters, the new HM plug-on transmitter, the UT handheld transmitter, the SRA slot-mount, dual-channel receiver, and the Venue modular receiver system.

Distribution for Europe and Japan will be handled direct to dealers in a manner similar to how the company currently addresses the Canadian and Australian markets.

“Lectrosonics has quietly transformed its manufacturing operations and designs to meet the special requirements for these two important global export markets,” said Gordon Moore, Vice President of Sales for Lectrosonics. “We’re excited to serve customers in both areas of the world, and to bring Lectrosonics’ legendary quality to the regions’ theaters, broadcast facilities, cinematography, and touring professionals that our U.S. customers have enjoyed for years.

“We have already forged several excellent partnerships in Europe and Japan, and I feel that we are off to a great start.”
