LEA Professional is debuting the LEA Professional Cloud Platform at the upcoming ISE 2020 show in Amsterdam, designed to provide systems integrators with reliable and secure remote monitoring and control capabilities across the lineup of IoT-enabled LEA Connect Series power amplifiers.
The company’s amplifiers are equipped with a built-in Amazon Web Services (AWS) IoT Core that facilitates monitoring operational data points that are integral to maintaining system health remotely. The capability is intended to deliver greater visibility to provide preventative maintenance, easier troubleshooting and fewer on-site maintenance requirements, providing a recurring revenue stream for integrators to add to their service contracts.
“Just as so many other businesses have been positively transformed by the cloud, AV is about to experience connectivity, interoperability and control functionality as never before enabled,” says Blake Augsburger, founder and CEO, LEA Professional. “At LEA Professional we are agents of change — bringing fresh perspective, bold new ideas and deep experience and commitment to the systems integration community. The combined impact of LEA’s innovation leadership in amplifier, DSP design, and the cloud expertise of partners like AWS will transform the technology and business of AV.”
With the new platform, integrators are not required to VPN into a Local Area Network and can access system status from any device. With the ability to communicate with an installed system anywhere, preventive maintenance and other system data is gathered from multiple sensors and circuitry within the amplifier.
