Lauten Audio Announces New Microphone Accessories At NAMM 2017

Includes 10 dB attenuator for Series Black LA-120 mics and premium suspension bands for Signature Series mic spider mounts

At this week’s NAMM show in Anaheim, Lauten Audio (Booth 7117, Hall A) is announcing new accessories for its Series Black and Signature Series microphones.

First is a pair of attenuator pad adapters for the Series Black LA-120 small-diaphragm condenser microphones, joined by premium suspension mount bands for the Atlantis FC-387, Clarion FC-357, and Oceanus LT-381 Signature Series spider shock mounts.

The pad adapters are sold as a pair and offer 10 dB of attenuation, installing between the capsule and preamplifier of the mic body. They offer added versatility when using LA-120s on higher SPL sources like drums or guitar amplifiers, bringing the stated maximum SPL handling from 130 to 140 dB SPL.

The adapters are 2.7 cm in length and when installed increase the length of the LA-120 to 18.4 cm from the stock length of 15.9 cm. Lauten expects them to be available by the end of 1st quarter 2017 with an MSRP of $99 and street price of $59.

The shock mount bands are an optional upgrade for Signature Series spider shock mounts. They’re hand-made in the U.S., constructed of high-quality elastic cord with a heavy-duty nylon jacketm resulting in enhanced elasticity longevity as well as vibration and noise transfer reduction.

The bands are 22 cm in length for the Atlantis and Clarion spider mounts, and 29 cm for the Oceanus spider mount. Packaged as pairs, they’re sold separately from the mics and are user installable. They should be available immediately after the NAMM show with an MSRP of $29.99 and street price of $19.99.
