Lab Gruppen has debuted the PDX3000, an amplifier for live and installed sound applications that’s stated to deliver 2 x 1,500 watts of Class D power joined by a DSP feature set for loudspeaker processing.

DSP functions include crossover, delay, 8-band parametric EQ, limiter and 2-band dynamic EQ. Monitoring and control is provided through USB connection and PDX Controller software as well as a front panel user interface.

The PDX3000 is equipped with balanced XLR and TRS input connectors and SpeakOn output connectors. Power management is designed to assure power output under all conditions while circuit protection is intended to guard against short circuits, DC and thermal overload. A front panel locking feature protects against accidental setting changes.

The rack-mount chassis is built to provide durability, with temperature-controlled fans and preset library also onboard for touring applications.

“It feels great bringing this amplifier to our customers,” says Sebastian Witkowski, brand innovation leader for Lab Gruppen. “Power at a good price point and an easy to use solution together with Turbosound, Tannoy and Midas. A great product for entry level touring applications and a great opportunity for Lab Gruppen to grow with its customersโ€

The PDX3000 will be accompanied by the PDX2000 amplifier (2 x 1,000 watts) in the near future. The PDX Series comes with a 10-year warranty.
