K-array USA Names David Rees As Business Development Manager For Production & Touring

Industry veteran brings more than 20 years of experience in the live event production industry to the new role, including management positions and work as a mix engineer.

K-array USA has announced the appointment of industry veteran David Rees as business development manager for production and touring, responsible for expanding the company’s’s visibility for touring and live event production applications.

“We are thrilled to welcome David Rees to the K-array USA team,” says Rusty Waite, president of K-array USA. “David’s extensive industry knowledge and strong relationships within the touring and production community will be significant in expanding K-array’s reach and helping us deliver our live sound and concert audio solutions to a wider audience.”

Rees brings more than 20 years of experience in the live event production industry to the new role, having held a range of previous positions in the live event sector, from small clubs to large stadiums. Previously, he served as national director of facilities and venue operations for SaveLive, director of production for Hollywood Park (YouTube Theater/SoFi Stadium), and national director of production for Live Nation. In addition to his management experience, he’s a seasoned live sound engineer with more than two decades of experience mixing for a variety of artists and events.

“I felt very lucky, in that, I was able to meet many K-array employees from Italy and abroad, as well as the USA team (and our reps) all in one go at InfoComm 2024,” Rees says. “Having met everyone and experiencing their extreme passion, knowledge, and commitment really got me fired up about joining K-array USA. I was already a fan of the brand, but I became a fan of the people standing behind the product as well.”
