K-array Introduces KU210 High-Output, Thin-Profile Subwoofer

Incorporates 10-inch neodymium cone woofer with dual voice coil with selectable impedance settings; enclosure measures just 5.9 inches deep

K-array has introduced the KU210, a high-output passive subwoofer with a very thin profile designed to accompany the company’s Installed Sound Series of loudspeakers or to serve as a low-frequency complement to any full-range system.

The KU210 utilizes a 10-inch neodymium cone woofer, combined with a 10-inch passive transducer in a completely sealed device that’s engineered for maximum linear excursion and minimum residual noise.

The neodymium woofer has a dual voice coil with selectable impedance settings, allowing use of up to four KU210s powered by just one channel of a K-array KA84 amplifier. And, all KA Series amplifiers have presets specifically optimized for a variety of KU210 applications.

Frequency range is stated as 40 Hz to 300 Hz (-10 dB), with maximum SPL at 121 dB (continuous) and 127 dB (peak).

The enclosure is made entirely of steel, making it quite durable even when utilized in tough weather conditions. It can’t be penetrated by dust, sand or water. The KU210 measures 11.1 x 19.7 x 5.9 inches (h x w x d) and weighs just 24.2 pounds.
