The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus (Lennon Bus), the non-profit mobile pro audio and HD video recording facility that provides hands-on experiences for students of all ages, is making its return to the 2017 NAMM Show on Thursday, January 19th at the Anaheim Convention Center.
2017 marks the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus’ 20th Anniversary of carrying on John Lennon’s legacy of peace, love and creativity.
“Launching the 20th Anniversary tour at the NAMM Show is like coming home,” says co-founder and executive director Brian Rothschild. “NAMM’s early support of the Lennon Bus helped set the stage for success, and many sponsors are NAMM members who are behind our mission to provide young people with free hands-on opportunities to create original music, songs, videos and short film projects.”
The Lennon Bus, which is inspired by John Lennon and made possible by Yoko Ono Lennon, has visited over 2,000 schools and worked with over 5 million students across the country, providing music and digital media production experience. Throughout the past 20 years the Lennon Bus has maintained incredible relationships with companies, such as Canon, Apple, Yamaha Corporation and Juniper Networks. Programs in association with the NAMM foundation have leveraged the Lennon Bus to focus attention on music education advocacy.
The Lennon Bus will be parked in the central Grand Plaza in front of the Anaheim Convention Center to welcome NAMM Show attendees with its newly updated display of onboard equipment, advanced recording technology, and innovative capabilities. In addition to hosting interactive tours and gear giveaways throughout the show, the Lennon Bus will also present the annual Imagine Party celebrating their 20th Anniversary on January 21st in the Grand Plaza.
