James Williamson Joins Stagetec USA As VP Of Broadcast Systems

Will be responsible for system sales and support across the product line, with a main focus on broadcast

Stagetec USA has announced the appointment of James Williamson as vice president of Broadcast Systems. Based in Stagetec’s New York City offices, he will be responsible for system sales and support across the product line, with a main focus on broadcast.

Most recently, Williamson provided independent broadcast and A/V facility design, but he has also spent many years directing engineering teams in broadcasting and performance centers.

“I’ve always have believed that well-engineered, high-quality products are the ruler which we use to gauge and feel that Stagetec’s product offering is second to none,” Williamson states. “Their meticulous attention to detail, the tools available and the robustness of the products is very impressive.”

Throughout his career, Williamson has made significant contributions to product design in the field and currently sits as New York Section Chair of the Audio Engineering Society.

“No stranger to the professional audio market, James has a vast variety of experience that we feel will enable him to really excel at this position” states Rusty Waite, president of Stagetec USA. “Not scared to roll up his sleeves, he’s already hit the ground running by supporting the Stagetec installations at the NBA Finals for ESPN.”
