IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R130 Isolation-Enhancing Monitor/Loudspeaker Stand Now Shipping

Includes "floating" architecture for audio image stabilizing

IsoAcoustics has announced that the new ISO-L8R130 isolation-enhancing stand, designed for small studio monitors as well as desktop and bookshelf loudspeakers, is now shipping.

The new ISO-L8R130 shares all the features found in the company’s ISO-L8R155 and ISO-L8R200 stands, including patented “floating” architecture for audio image stabilizing.

The new stand measures 5.1 inches wide and 6 inches deep, and comes with tubing to configure it to 2.5 inches or 7.5 inches in height. It also includes two sets of adjustor inserts to provide 14 variations of height and tilt adjustments. The stands are designed to accommodate monitors with widths of up to 5 inches and weights of less than 20 pounds.

IsoAcoustics stand isolation technology allows any loudspeaker to float in free space, maintain all movement on-axis, eliminating energy transfer to the surrounding surfaces. The result is enhanced sound clarity, tightening up of the bass and the opening up of mid-range frequencies.

“Whether you are mixing a new project or listening to your favorite music, the ISO-L8R130 will allow you to hear tighter bass and more openness throughout the entire frequency range, “says IsoAcoustics president and founder Dave Morrison. “With a stronger phantom image, each instrument will have a cleaner three-dimensional sound in the mix.”

The ISO-L8R130 is available now at local retailers.
