At the ISE 2020 show in Amsterdam, Bluesound Professional (hall 5, booth T140) has announced the integration of Custom Channels, a commercially licensed streaming music service that specializes in curated music mixes for the hospitality, retail, and wellness industries. All BluOS Enabled devices from Bluesound Professional will be prompted for an update in March 2020, which will then enable Custom Channels as a streaming service option.
“Most businesses don’t realize the legal risks of streaming music from their personal accounts on typical consumer music streaming services,” says Graeme Harrison, vice president and general manager of Bluesound Professional. “We’re pleased to offer an additional commercially-licensed streaming option for our customers who are especially conscious of using music to create branded environments.”
Custom Channels, a Colorado-based company, provides human curated music mixes designed ensure consistency of style and volume level from track to track, while also minimizing repetition and eliminating explicit material. With a number of price tiers and service options, Custom Channels is intended to offer businesses additional control over their brand and customer experience.
“We’re thrilled to be part of the BluOS system,” says Kurt Oleson, director of operations for Custom Channels. “This integration will strengthen Bluesound Professional as a commercial audio provider and further Custom Channels’ commitment to providing fully licensed music solutions via some of the most trusted and reliable platforms commercially available.”
The Custom Channels integration will be demonstrated at the Bluesound Professional booth throughout ISE 2020.
