Harman Expands Dante-Enabled Crown DriveCore Install DA Series

New members of flagship series offer lower wattage Dante- and AES67-enabled options

Harman has announced new members of the Crown DriveCore Install DA Series of amplifiers, offering support for Dante and AES67 networked audio at lower wattage (300- and 600-watt options) than existing DA Series amplifiers.

The DCi DA Series also includes a DSP with JBL loudspeaker tunings, network control/monitoring, efficient design, and the ability to drive 2/4/8/16-ohm as well as 70 and 100-volt loads out of each channel without the need for an external transformer.

New models include:

• DCi 8|300DA – 8 channels, 300 watts per channel

• DCi 4|300DA – 4 channels, 300 watts per channel

• DCi 4|600DA – 4 channels, 600 watts per channel

“These new, lower wattage members of the Crown DCi DA Series demonstrate our commitment to providing robust and capable amplifier solutions for any application,” says Iain Gregory, Director, large venue solutions and marketing at Harman. “With support for Dante and AES67 combined with the advanced capabilities of the Crown DriveCore Install Series, these new amplifiers bring the ability to distribute amplifiers throughout a facility without complex cabling or additional devices.”
